Girl's and Boys' Adventure Camps

Girls' Adventure Camp: 

 Ages 7 -16

Boys' Adventure Camp:

 Ages 7 -16

For each of these weeks of camp only girls or only boys attend.  These are great weeks to observe because the girls are just girls and the boys are just boys.  The goal of this week of camp is for the campers to have a place where there is no pressure to act like someone that they are not in order to impress someone else.  So boys can learn to be men of God and likewise, girls learn to be women of God.  Campers are taught what biblical integrity and purity look like through the powerful words of the Bible and the example of their counsellors. 

At the beginning of the week, each cabin group is given a spot in the bush.  Throughout the week each cabin group builds a base camp using tarps and wooden poles. Then they build a fire pit and anything else they would like.  The elective schedules are more open for these weeks. At the beginning of the day, the cabin groups sign up for their day’s electives or they can choose to work more on their base camps.  Campers and counsellors go to chapel for a special time of learning and being taught from the Bible.  There are all-camp games in the afternoon and evening. Then campers have a campfire with their cabin group at their base camp where the counsellors review what was taught in chapel or something else they have learned from the Bible and wish to share.
